Dr. Geon Bae was born and raised in South Korea and moved to England at the age of fourteen where he completed his secondary education. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009 and went on to earn his dental degree from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Bae loves dental mission trips, and has visited several South American countries. During a visit to Honduras and Guatemala in 2009, he saw many children suffering in agonizing and unnecessary dental pain and realized his true calling was to become a pediatric dentist. He completed his Post – Doctoral program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at NYU Lutheran, APLA Health and Wellness, Los Angeles, CA in 2017.
During his residency he learned how to effectively and efficiently treat medically complex patients. Upon completion of his first residency program, he moved to Alaska and completed an additional 2-year pediatric dentistry training at NYU Langone Health, Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.
Dr. Bae is a current member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Global Dental Alliance and Golden Key Honour Society. He is married to a pharmacist named Joo and together they love to travel with their dogs, Morty & Mochi. In his spare time, he enjoys, golfing, hiking, fishing and doing many other outdoor activities.
